Introduction

Hassan ibn Thabit ibn Al-Mundhir ibn Haram, known as Abu Al-Walid Al-Ansari, was a renowned poet who lived during both the pre-Islamic and Islamic eras. Early Life

Hassan ibn Thabit was born in Al-Madinah, into a family of high standing among his people. His father was a leader among the Khazraj tribe.
